Harry Potter Facts That You Didn’t Know
It’s leviOsa not leviosA. We all know a Harry Potter phrase when we see one. But there are things we don’t know about this magical movie. I am going to let you in on a few facts that you didn’t know about Harry Potter. Here they are.
Did you know that the number that Arthur Weasley dials to get to the Ministry of Magic is 6-2-4-4-2, and the letters underneath those numbers spell “magic”? Why not try dialing that number the next time you are in an English telephone box. You might reach the world of wizardry!
Remember Moaning Myrtle from “The Chamber of Secrets”? She was actually much older than a student. She played the role when she was 36 years old! Hmm, I wonder what face cream she uses.
Stunt Gone Wrong
For every movie that has dangerous scenes, there is a stunt double on the set, ready to get into action. But unfortunately Daniel Radcliffe’s stunt double was left paralysed after a stunt went terribly wrong in the movie “Deathly Hallows”.
You Go Professor McGonagall!
The fight against breast cancer at its best! Maggie Smith, who plays Professor McGonagall, underwent chemotherapy during the last movies. She has fully recovered now and said that “things happen” and “I ought to put myself together a bit”. Well done Maggie!
J.k Rowling Presents…
I left the best for last. Guess what? Harry Potter isn’t over! J.K. Rowling is providing short stories of the continuation of Harry Potter and the official play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is now in theatres in London. However, you will have to wait a while for available tickets, because they are sold out until April 2018! But you can always try your luck; maybe a little spell will do the job.
