I’m too fat. I’m too skinny. I look like a weakling. Sound familiar?
Here’s why you should stop worrying and start loving your body.
First things first: food.
Are you seriously going to live life without enjoying that scrumptious ice cream or mouth-indulging chocolate cake every once in a while? I mean, seriously. Why invent all these delicious desserts if we can’t enjoy them. Indulge yourself every now and then. Just don’t start binging on them every day.
Secondly, did you know that those who eat what they want and stop when they are satisfied are less likely to have weight problems than those who deprive themselves of the right foods? Your body doesn’t want you to starve. It wants you to eat healthily, while indulging something yummy every now and then.
Finally, listen closely… There is no such thing as a PERFECT BODY.
Sorry to shatter your hopes and dreams, but I am being honest. Even the skinniest of girls or the most muscly men will find something that they don’t like about their body. And I think that supermodel Miranda Kerr backs me up when she said, “Models are some of the most insecure people I’ve ever met. You’ve really got to practice loving yourself.”
As long as you are living healthily (and yes, you can eat a slice of that birthday cake), then start loving your body. Go on, what are you waiting for?
