We all know it’s important to take care of ourselves; eat healthy food, work out and so on. The thing is, sometimes it just seems like it’s too much effort to be healthy. I’ll let you in on a small secret – it isn’t!
Here are the 5 top small changes you can make in your everyday life to be healthier, and all of them are super simple!
- Choose to walk.
If it’s to school, to a friend, to the grocery shop or wherever – when it’s close enough, skip the car, bus or taxi and use the magnificent device you have called legs. Also, taking the stairs instead of the elevator is included in this tip 😉
- Reduce the times you eat outside/order food.
When you make your own food, you really know what you eat and you can always choose the healthiest options for your meal. Of course, it also saves you money and reduces waste in our world.
- Take a bottle of water with you everywhere.
When the water is next to us all the time, we drink much more. I love adding to my water mint leaves, lemon and berries – besides drinking tasty water, I also have the prettiest water bottle around.
- Spend more time with friends.
There’s nothing like putting your phone aside and just having a good time with good friends. Being happy is a core value in a healthy life.
- Grow your own vegetables.
When your greens are more available and so fresh, there is no way you won’t want to add them to every meal. I know this might sound like the hardest tip, though it’s actually so simple. Want to know how? Check it out in this article.
