5 Foods You Should Never Eat

We always hear about what we should eat and what we shouldn’t eat much of, but what about the foods which we should NEVER eat. We know that chocolate isn’t the healthiest of foods to eat, but not to eat it EVER? Well, not exactly. Chocolate is fine in moderate proportion. However, here are the foods you should stay away from completely.

Artificial Sweeteners

Artificial sweeteners are number one on our list. That includes all foods and drinks that contain them, like diet drinks and zero-sugar desserts. This criminal in disguise that we call “Artificial Sweetener” is guilty of having us think that it’s good for us because we are cutting out sugars, but in fact research has strongly suggested that artificial sweeteners slower our metabolism down and are a cause of weight gain. Guilty as charged!

American Cheese

Next in line is American cheese. It is the yellowish orange square on top of your burger that is usually served at fast food restaurants. Well, newsflash. It isn’t really cheese after all. It is actually made up of many artificial products and flies out the roof in fats. A few people have even experimented burning American cheese just to see if it will melt like cheese is supposed to. Guess what? It doesn’t. It just gets burnt but it still keeps its square shape.

Regular Soda

Just as you should stay away from diet soda, you should also stay away from regular soda. The average regular can of soda contains around 10 teaspoons of sugar (Basically, Diabetes in a can). Stick with water and natural juices.

Fried Food

Fried food is a killer, whether it’s fried chicken, chips, onion rings or burgers. It is best to stay away. Fried food can cause your cholesterol and blood pressure to rise and you will become more likely to suffer from heart disease in the future. Even though you don’t see the downside now, what you eat now affects your body in the long run.

Instant meals

Last but not least are packaged quick meals where you just add water. Come on, how lazy do you have to be? These so-called meals are full of preservatives, flavours and a lot of salt. So much salt in fact, that it contains the amount of salt that should be taken in a whole day! Do yourself a favour and cook your own noodles. It will taste better too.
